TRANSVAAL

Very distinctive bayonet with sawback and reversed quillion, showing definite German influence. There is some evidence that not all of these reached the Transvaal and that some may have been kept by the Germans, although there are pictures of the blades in use in Africa.
This one has the hard to find original scabbard.
