 | "Indian" MkII* bayonet, pommel markings have been indicated to me as being Pakistani, confirmation would be appreciated,
I believe it may actually be Arabic but.....
The writing is Arabic and is the initials SAM, an unknown and the number
137, SAM possibly means "In the Year of", many
thanks to Brian Lloyd and Fartun Salah for this information |

UK No 9 made in the Pakistan
Ordinance Factory after partition, identical to UK model except for markings
P.O.F.59 marking on locket |
   |
Only a couple of these No9 were known about but recently
there have been a couple on EBAY. The marking was un identified until it was
pointed out that the mark was the same as on 1907's and it was noted that
the old Indian MIL factory is now in Pakistan and is now the site of the
POF. These must be early production as most blades are marked POF

M1 bayonets were converted by Pakistan for issue with the rifles by grinding
a bowie point on them, however this one may not be original as the blade
length seems to be longer than others seen. |

Short hilt G3 for the MP5 SMG
|
  |
Crudely made G3 bayonet, with rough castings and poorly fitting grips. No
markings, but UK SLR pattern blade would probably indicate the Pakistan link
Interesting scabbard manufacture has middle rather than side seams |
  |
Commercial G3 bayonet with no markings to indicate
Pakistan manufacture |
