Many thanks to the BCN for making me a certified site, I shall continue to try and earn it

Moved to the USA and have had a problem transferring the site, but it is now up and running again. I now have 10x the transfer capability but will still lock out people using what i consider to be excessive bandwidth. With my new host there is less reason to copy the site as it should now be up and running all month, and there will hopefully be major changes starting, not least of which is a glut of new and interesting pieces.

Since I know have so many commercial bayonets I have set up a page dedicated to the type, these will be bayonets made by manufacturers with the aim of supplying them to military units and not the cheap copies or clones sold in "junk" shops

For those of you who collect Japanese bayonets check out the new book on the subject by Raymond LeBarr

For the Badge Collectors look at my other militaria pages and help me ID a lot of badges, with more to come

Today's additions a German 71/84 marked DOA, Greek No4

I hope you enjoy looking around my site. If you want to send comments on anything you see, or ask any questions then  please feel free to email me.

I know the people who make fakes are less than likely to take any notice of pleas to stop ruining items with fake markings etc. So people please learn a bit studying information out there and not falling for the fakes. For a start look at this page put together by Andy of BCN fame on SS faked 84/98's and remember the etched 84/98's are all fakes!!!

If you have any requests for dedicated pages please let me know and I will see what I can put together, as I have significant numbers of variations of a type, I am also willing to "host" pages for people where these are relevant to bayonet collectors

My CD on the UK pattern 1907 bayonet and its derivatives has now been released  The Armourer  magazine has a write up of the CD in the March/April 2003 issue The CD is priced at £20 GBP or $35USD including normal 1st class mail (for the UK and USA others please take contact), please contact me if you would like to purchase one of the last remaining copies.
