I know the people who make fakes are less than likely to take any notice of pleas to stop ruining items with fake markings etc. So people please learn a bit studying information out there and not falling for the fakes. For a start look at this page put together by Andy of BCN fame on SS faked 84/98's and remember the etched 84/98's are all fakes!!!
If you have any requests for dedicated pages please let me know and I will see what I can put together, as I have significant numbers of variations of a type, I am also willing to "host" pages for people where these are relevant to bayonet collectors
